The vision of MIRTH is to create a community of retired men who support each other.
This comes about in various ways:
- By companionship and developing friendships on walks, in the pub and at various types of meetings.
- By formal monthly meetings with a light lunch together and a speaker on a wide variety of topics.
- By trips out to places of interest, organised during the better weather seasons.
- By offering a Bible discussion group.
Men come from Leamington and the surrounding area. Many attend local churches and others do not.
MIRTH is open to retired men of all faiths or none, and is a welcoming open community whose purpose is to improve the lives of all.
There is no ‘membership’—everyone is welcome at all meetings.
