This year we will be going to Gloucester
Gloucester is a compact city, we will be dropped off by the docks, and it is about a 10-minute walk to the cathedral.
Gloucester is home to the historic docks with the National Waterways Museum, the cathedral, many other museums, including the small Beatrix Potter’s Taylor of Gloucester Museum and the Museum of Gloucester (both free)
If shopping is your thing, there are outlet shops at the Docks, as well as in the city.
Options for lunch are all over the City, so you won’t go hungry.
Subject to receiving sufficient bookings, we will organise an opportunity to go on the stonemasons’ tour at the cathedral. This is only available for organised groups and costs £18 per person (we need a minimum of 10 people to book this tour for it to go ahead). This will be at 2pm and will last around 1 hour.
As always all are welcome on this trip (not just men).
We will leave from St Paul’s at 9:00am, returning around 5:00pm
Cost £20 per seat on the coach
